French hoods were worn in the second half of the 15th century, the late Tudor
and early Elizabethan period.
Our French hoods have a plastic base laminated with many different fabric,
with nylon tricot veil and adjustable elastic that goes under the hair at the
back of the neck. Large French Hoods are 11½" across widest part and 3 " tall.
